FORUM RULES

Having fun and helping are the guiding principles behind this forum, if you think something you are typing is going to be
rude, upsetting, racist, imflammatory, destructive, offensive, dont even think about posting it, it'll be seen by mods and admins remember?

General Rules

1. Do not post porn links or pornagraphic avatars,
2. Do not swear/cuss in your posts,
3. Do not spam,
4. Do not double, triple, quad post and so on..... use the EDIT button!
5. No personal attacks on other users.
6. Posting excessive links to other forums might well upset us enough to ban you as well, and
believe us, it isnt good to be banned.
7. No multiple-accounts allowed.
8. No posing
9. No copy posting
10. No offensive usernames.

Coolness is a feature when you make a good post or bad post you either lose Coolness or gain Coolness. If you get -5 Coolness you will get a week ban, if you get banned 2 times because of Coolness, you will get permabanned. Anything else, it matters how bad it is.

To gain Coolness:
1. Make a good post
2. Help someone out
3. Advertise on different forums
4. Make artwork for CP Blizzard

To lose Coolness:
1. Make a bad/inapropiate post
2. Spam
3. Be rude, more mild than flaming
4. Just braking the rules in any way.

If you get +50 Coolness, you will be our next moderator.

The forum is for constructive comments, getting help, have fun, etc. If you wish to talk about other topics,do it in the playground section or go to the chatroom.

Signature and Avatar Rules

Signature images have no size limit, but be sure that your sig isnt over 500 pixels tall. The sig has a limit of 255 charachters.
Abusive content, flaming, threats, ect, is absolutely forbidden in signatures. The forum admins and mods will make sure your sig is under the rules. The avatars have a huge size limit, but if you over do it, admins will delete it. Not abusive or racist content.

Do not double/triple post!
Unless you have a really good reason for it, never, ever, double post. Remember that this is NOT a chat room and should not be treated as such. Double posting IS considered spamming. Don’t do it. If you really must, state your reason and we will overlook it.

DON'T SHOUT IT'S NOT NICE!
Typing in caps means you are shouting. Its also extremely messy looking, and reflects badly on the forum. TALKING LIKE THIS ALL THE TIME IN YOUR POSTS IS NOT ALLOWED! Please don’t do it.

Any posts about Club Penguin belong in the Club Penguin forum only!
Post any and all Club Penguin topics and posts on the Club Penguin forum ONLY. This will help avoid annoying the other members from the other forums and keep you on good terms with them. Fort example, this could include posting a thread about igloos in General Chat.
Posting CP topics outside the CP forum will be met with one infraction per offence.

Post threads in the correct sub-forums!
Use the sub forums correctly. Post about meetings and parties in the ‘Meetings and Parties’ sub-forum and artwork in the 'Gallery‘. The mods will be moing threads, and if you post in the wrong section too much, you will lose coolness.

Post Quality
Before you post, ask yourself this: "By posting, am I contributing or helping the thread?" If you answer 'no', then do not post. Club Penguin is not a chat room and tiny non-content posts are not allowed. Ideally, posts should be at least 10 words long. If you think you may be posting something useless, stop typing it and don’t post it. Different moderators may enforce this rule slightly differently. Do not post something like this, "oh," "thats really funny," "huh," "WTF," "OMG," "wow."
Post something like, "I have noticed that glitch, but thats not excacly how you do it," "I never knew that, how did you figure that out?"

No Advertising
There is no advertising! You are only allowed to advertise in your signatures, or if you have 20 or more posts, in the advertising section. If you have less than 20 posts and post in the advertising section, it will get erased. If you spam to get 20 posts, the link will also get erased.

Keep on-topic at all times
All you do is do not go offtopic. If you want to go offtopic, post in the right section. Try to keep Club Penguin releted.

Backseat moderating
Beckseat moderating is when you pretend you are a moderator and saying, "Hey! That was not good, you should get banned" Leave that to the moderators. Or if no one sees it, PM us or post it in the right section.

Do not flame!
Flaming is cursing, offending, etc. at other members. Very harsh flames will get you perma-banned... very mild ones, might lose Coolness or even a ban.

Do not create multiple accounts!
If you have been perma-banned or banned and you want to come back on, just wait until your ban time is over and post again. If you make another acount, the ban time will increase.

Don't type fowl words
Just don’t swear at all. For a list of acceptable words, see this thread. Do not try to get AROUND the filter either.
Users will lose 2 points for each post they swear in.

Don't bump old topics
Bumping a thread when you have nothing useful to add to it, or because you are just going to say what someone else already said is frowned upon. If you feel you really have something to add, or you have a question about the subject matter that hasn't been answered in the other posts, feel free to resurrect the thread, but make sure you've read the whole thread and that you're not repeating things.
Bumping a thread for no good reason will earn you one infraction each time you do it.

Getting along with other members
If you go to another forum, like RuneScape, remember that not everyone there likes or plays Club Penguin. Respects their opinions and vise versa.
If you go to another forum and start causing problems you will be perma-banned!

Contacting staff
If you want to contact me, Bekett360 or any mods/admins, please pm (privatemessage) us. Or email us if really needed.

Criticising staff
If someone wants to maturely question our judgment and see what the community thinks, most of the time we don’t mind. You can also email us if you think we have made a mistake, and we will try to sort it out, but remember to be polite. Shouting at us and saying we are bad mods will just get you into trouble. We would prefer if you emailed us though. You must also have a VERY good reason for criticising us, or else it just looks like you have a problem with authority.
If you do criticise staff on the forum in a rude way you will get an infraction. You may also get a ban if its serious enough.

Follow these rules and we can all get along. This thread is also getting locked. The rules are the rules and are not open to discussion.

In closing...

Anyone found abusing of these rules will find their posts/threads containing them, blocked or deleted and in last case, the member will be banned.

If everyone is polite and courteous we can all enjoy this forum.
I don't want to have to put up rules, as we are all old enough to get along nicely.

All in all this forum is somewhere for people to meet and get to know other
users whilst chatting about the stuff they like and enjoying themselves.

Hacking
If you get perma-banned and you dont know why, you can email us, but if we didnt give you any warnings, it is because you hack Club Penguin or hack forums. Club Penguin hackers (CP Trainer is ok) you will get banned right away.

Asking to be a moderator
Please, do not ask to be a moderator or an admin.. It is very annoying and you will get a lower chance of becoming one.
